The objective of this presentation is to make bankers aware of the seven CIS Controls that the FFIEC has adopted InTREx Exams and to educate them on what each Control is and why each Control is an important part of maintaining a safe and compliant IT environment.
Banks continue to be prime targets for cybercriminals. To protect bank data, as well as to maintain compliance with strict regulations, the FFIEC has adopted seven controls developed by the Center for Internet Security (CIS). These controls include:

1. Inventory & Control of Enterprise Assets
2. Inventory & Control of Software Assets
3. Data Protection
4. Secure Configuration of Enterprise Assets & Software
5. Account Management
6. Access Control Management
7. Continuous Vulnerability Management

In this presentation, we will explain what each Control is and why it is important

 

Your registration includes:

  • A copy of the presentation materials
  • Unlimited video replay for 1 year
  • Certificate for Continuing Education upon completion of the course
  • 1.0 CPE credit

To receive CPE Credits:

Each attendee must be registered on the paid event registration and attend a full 50 minutes for each CPE credit hour. Each attendee is also required to answer the live polling questions to confirm participation.
