  • How to determine whether your institution is required to collect and report small business lending data based on the definitions of a covered institution, covered transactions and “small business”
  • The mandatory and discretionary data fields you are required to collect and report
  • Fair Lending and CRA considerations
  • Operational and implementation challenges you need to be aware of, whether you are a 1071 reporting institution or not
  • The “firewall provision” regarding lender and employee access to the information
  • When you must begin collecting data based on volume of covered loans (tiered phases of implementation)
