While cannabis in its many forms is quickly becoming a commodity, cannabis banking and its continued illusiveness is a favorite topic for politicians and news media alike!

The cannabis industry understands that while change is inevitable, the need for acceptance and consistent bank services has never been greater. Many financial institutions desire regulations for the needed clarity to work with the additional risk attributed to cannabis-related businesses while other FIs are now expanding out their programs to include lending! SAFE Banking Act continues to be a focus in Washington with ongoing attempts to attach it to other legislation to get it finally passed.
