Throughout this one day bootcamp, we will explore Model, Operational and Strategic risk. The simple uncluttered approach of the presentations will make it easy to understand and facilitate enhancement of personal skills. We are including a session on the skills required to be a trusted advisor (influencer) for those who want to play a larger role in decision-making within their organization. And finally, we end up with a session on the biggest emerging risk todays – one that stakeholders and regulators will be focused on during the next 24 months – Data Risk Management.

Session One: This first session is all about model risk management. Every business we work in uses models. Credit models, profitability, risk, and the list goes on. This session brings the mystic of model risk into reality in a simple and direct way so that everyone will be able to support those models that your business uses. A great session for either the novice model person or even mid level managers who would like to know more about models and the risks associated with them.

Session Two: The second session will explore operational and strategic risks. Most of us are already familiar with operational risk but may not be as in tune with strategic risk. No worries here. After discovering the sings of operational risk and how best to manage it the webinar moves right into strategic risk. For managers, operations staff, Audit Committees, Auditors and even members of the Board of Directors. This session provides a simple and understandable look at these two significant risk areas.

Session Three: While it is valuable to have the skills of a risk manager or auditor, or even know a great amount about risk and controls, it may not be enough. This session focuses on what is needed to take you to the next level, that of trusted advisor. Especially designed for the upwardly mobile, learn about those skills and behaviors required to be an influencer in your organization. There is nothing as rewarding as being a trusted as a person with sound opinions and great solutions. Join us for secrets of how you can achieve just that.

Session Four: The new normal will include a lot of remote work. Working from home is becoming more and more common. This means that data gets transferred and shared. Of course this introduces risk and so this session is designed to share key risk and controls as related to data risk management. An area that regulators will no doubt be focused on in 2021 and 2022, it makes sense for us to prepare ourselves to address their concerns through implementation of great data risk management processes. This session will provide a large number of ideas that will help you in this intense area of risk.
